This well-established hospital is a comprehensive medical center serving the Fort Smith region with a 16-bed critical care department. The facility operates at a Level 3 trauma designation and benefits from strong support staff including mid-levels and residents to assist with procedures and call coverage.

Physician - Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity providing critical care services with rounding plus call duties
• Support staff will assist with call coverage during daytime hours
• Shifts available as 7A - 7P or 7P - 7A (12-hour shifts)
• Active Arkansas medical license required
• Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency required
• Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Nearest airport is Fort Smith Regional Airport
• Lodging available at Homewood Suites
• Specific weeks of need available from November 2024 through June 2025 - please submit provider availability for desired dates

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
