Crypto Hedge Fund Operations Associate

Crypto operations and meticulous reconciliation define this hands-on Operations Associate role at hermeneutic research, supporting a fast-moving proprietary trading firm.

Reporting to the COO team, you will manage digital asset operations, trade lifecycle workflows, and middle and back office processes. The work spans custody, settlements, margin tracking, reconciliations, and operational reporting. You will collaborate with trading, technology, and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute wallet workflows across hot, cold, and MPC custody solutions
• Monitor staking, bridging, and smart contract interactions
• Manage trade capture, margin tracking, settlements, and reconciliation
• Maintain dashboards, reporting, and procedure documentation
• Coordinate compliance procedures, vendors, and operational improvements

Requirements:

• Five to seven years in hedge fund or trading operations
• Direct digital asset custody, settlement, or DeFi experience preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail across operational data
• Structured thinking across multiple shifting workstreams
• Bachelor's degree; finance, technical, or business education preferred
