CS&A Engineer

In this role, you will deliver CS&A design work packages for a nuclear project, ensuring compliance with regulatory and functional requirements. You will develop and review Revit models for CS&A and mechanical piping, and support the delivery of associated design outputs. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to produce fit-for-purpose solutions while operating in a highly regulated environment. This position offers impact in shaping safety-critical infrastructure within a leading nuclear engineering firm.

• Produce CS&A design packages (specifications, drawings, verifications) to meet legal and performance requirements within time, cost, and quality constraints
• Develop Revit models for CS&A and mechanical piping with engineering leads
• Support delivery of CS&A deliverables (designs, assessments, drawings, reports) and review outputs
• Work in the nuclear industry context with emphasis on safety, compliance and quality

• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear
• Familiar with various design technologies and techniques
• Production of CS&A design documents (calculations, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, method statements)
• Qualified and experienced user of Autodesk Revit
• Experience in steelwork design with Eurocode 3 and related legislation
• Capable of independent and autonomous work during package delivery
• Able to seek input from engineers and stakeholders to improve solutions
• Able to present information clearly to diverse audiences
• Minimum education: HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering with 5+ years design delivery, or BEng/MEng with 2+ years
