CS&A Engineer

As a CS&A Engineer, you will contribute to the CS&A delivery for nuclear projects by producing design packages, validating drawings and calculations, and developing Revit models with support from discipline leads. You will check outputs and ensure compliance with relevant standards within a regulated environment. This role emphasizes autonomous package delivery and cross-functional collaboration to achieve safe, fit-for-purpose solutions. Your work supports complex infrastructure projects across the project lifecycle and aligns with Assystem’s engineering excellence and safety focus.

• Produce CS&A design packages (specifications, drawings, verifications) meeting legal and functional requirements
• Develop Revit models for CS&A and Mechanical Piping with lead engineers' support
• Deliver CS&A design outputs, review, and approve designs, assessments, drawings, and reports
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and other engineers to ensure integration and quality
• Support delivery within the nuclear industry and regulatory context
• Work autonomously to deliver design packages and seek input from team members to improve solutions

• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear
• Knowledge of CS&A design documents and associated calculations
• Proficient user of Autodesk Revit
• Experience in steelwork design with awareness of Eurocode 3 and BS5950-1
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor information to different audiences
• Minimum education: HNC in Civil Engineering (preferred HND or degree) with 5+ years of design delivery, or BEng/MEng with 2+ years of experience
