CS&A Engineer

As a CS&A Engineer at Assystem, you will deliver CS&A design work packages and supporting drawings for nuclear projects. You will develop Revit models for CS&A and mechanical piping, and ensure deliverables meet regulatory and project requirements. You will collaborate with lead engineers and other disciplines to check and approve outputs, contributing to safe, compliant, and efficient project execution. This role offers hands-on design delivery in a specialist, safety‑driven environment with growth into chartered status. You will work within a multinational team to shape robust solutions for complex infrastructure.

• Produce CS&A design work packages (specifications, drawings, verifications) meeting legal and performance requirements
• Develop Revit models for CS&A and mechanical piping with support from lead engineers
• Deliver CS&A design outputs (designs, assessments, drawings, reports) and participate in reviews
• Check and approve CS&A deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Work autonomously on package delivery and seek input from other engineers as needed
• Present technical information clearly to diverse audiences

• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear
• Familiarity with design technologies and techniques
• Production of CS&A design documents ( civil/structural calculations, drawings, specs, scopes of work, method statements)
• Qualified and experienced user of Autodesk Revit
• Experience in steelwork design with Eurocode 3 and BS5950-1 knowledge
• Ability to work independently during package delivery
• Ability to seek input from colleagues to improve solutions
• Strong communication skills for varied audiences
• Minimum 5 years design delivery with an HNC path or 2 years with a Civil Engineering degree (BEng/MEng)
