As a Customer Data Strategy Consultant, you shape end-to-end data strategies that connect data collection, unification, and activation to measurable business outcomes. You operate at the intersection of business strategy, data architecture, and AI capability, translating technical possibilities into commercial value. You stay invested in outcomes, guiding implementation and ensuring the CDP activates to drive growth. You work closely with cross-functional teams to build trusted, AI-ready data foundations at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Shape Customer Data Strategy: define data collection, unification, and activation across online and offline channels
  • Develop data strategies tied to business outcomes such as revenue growth and lifetime value
  • Advise on data governance, consent, and privacy frameworks (GDPR, post-cookie, AI Act)
  • Translate ambiguous challenges into actionable roadmaps with milestones and value
  • Help clients build business cases for investment
  • Design & Modernise Customer Data Architecture: lead CDP/MDM/CRM design and implementation
  • Guide legacy modernization toward cloud-native, event-driven architectures
  • Evaluate and recommend technology stack across Martech, Adtech, and data platforms
  • Architect AI-ready data foundations: unified, trusted, real-time, governed
  • Bridge AI Ambition & Data Reality: advise on AI-enabled personalization, GenAI content, intelligent decisioning
  • Assess data readiness for AI and plan practical steps to close gaps
  • Define measurement frameworks to prove value of AI and data investments
  • Drive Product & Delivery: define data products, prioritise use cases, KPIs, and iterative delivery
  • Lead end-to-end workstreams from discovery to handover
  • Translate business requirements into data requirements and capabilities
  • Operate in agile environments with stakeholders from engineers to C-suite
  • Engage Clients & Build Trust: act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops and communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Support business development through proposals, pitches, and opportunity spotting
