Customer Experience Test Automation Intern

Build UI end-to-end tests from customer tickets at OpusClip in Vancouver, using AI coding tools and customer-focused quality thinking.

As a CX Test Automation Intern, you will turn support conversations into repeatable tests for a real AI video product. You will map workflows, reproduce failures, and ship automation into Engineering repositories and CI. This four-month co-op starts January 7, 2027, with an option to extend eight months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mine tickets for customer workflows and failure points
• Reproduce reported failures and write automated UI tests
• Document workflow steps, decisions, and failure modes
• Open pull requests and respond to code review
• Report flaky tests with clear reproduction steps

Requirements:

• Built and shipped something real with AI assistance
• Read Python and JavaScript or TypeScript code
• Identify edge cases and rank tests by user impact
• Communicate clearly and collaborate cross-functionally
• Understand business impact, ROI, and opportunity cost
