Cyber Security Consultant

In this role you will join CGI’s collaborative security practice to tackle complex cyber risk challenges for a wide range of clients. You’ll help build a comprehensive security view across business, technology and operations, drawing on threat intelligence to drive resilient systems. You will work on projects with real-world impact, contributing to security governance and policy development. • Assess risk across business, technology and operations and synthesize threat intelligence to inform security posture
• Contribute to building the full security view that underpins system resilience and client confidence
• Develop cyber policy and procedures and support security change management
• Engage in data protection/privacy efforts and incident response planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security governance and implementation across diverse domains
• Support networks, core infrastructure and systems security within client environments

• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NCSC CAF, Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials Plus, NIST)
• Experience in developing cyber policy and procedures
• Data protection and privacy experience
• Security change management
• Understanding of business continuity resilience and incident response
• Experience with networks, core infrastructure and systems
• UK Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)
