Cybersecurity Network Security Administrator

Protect critical technology environments in Ottawa as a Cybersecurity and Network Security Administrator specializing in firewalls, cloud security, and incident response. This is an on-site position requiring strong English communication skills.

Working across Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking, and Business Systems, you will strengthen security operations and support modern security initiatives. The position combines hands-on administration with risk management, security architecture reviews, and practical remediation recommendations. You will also coordinate with external security partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate security incidents and improve threat detection response
• Administer firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and secure connectivity
• Manage Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Defender controls
• Strengthen DLP, information protection, and identity security
• Develop cybersecurity policies, standards, and documentation

Requirements:

• Five-plus years progressive IT experience
• Three-plus years in cybersecurity, network, or infrastructure security
• Hands-on firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, switching
• Experience securing Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and SaaS
• Strong technical documentation and remediation communication skills
