Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

Apply security monitoring and vulnerability management skills as a full-time Security Analyst supporting Westerkirk Capital Inc. and its subsidiaries. Work 40 hours weekly across enterprise cybersecurity activities.

Reporting to the Cloud & Security Architect, this Security Analyst supports cybersecurity controls, risk management, incident response, and continuous improvement. The work combines technical analysis with coordination, documentation, remediation tracking, and management reporting across multiple organizations. You will collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, and external security providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor alerts, dashboards, reports, vulnerabilities, and security exposures
• Coordinate findings, escalations, ownership, remediation, and closure
• Support incident response, evidence gathering, communications, and follow-up
• Maintain risk registers, documentation, metrics, and cybersecurity records
• Prepare reporting on posture, risks, incidents, and progress

Requirements:

• Three to five years of hands-on cybersecurity or related experience
• Degree or diploma in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or related field
• Knowledge of identity, endpoint, network, vulnerability, logging, and incident controls
• Experience reviewing configurations, logs, alerts, findings, vulnerabilities, and reports
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
