D365 Developer

As a D365 Developer at Softcat, you design, develop and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions across Sales and related processes within an Agile team. You’ll build Power Platform components, extend D365 with custom development, and ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned to standards. You’ll collaborate with Functional Consultants and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement. This role sits in a transforming internal technology function that values development, collaboration and inclusivity.

• Design, develop and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
• Build and maintain Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Extend Dynamics 365 via custom development (C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants to implement business processes
• Produce maintainable, testable code
• Monitor platform performance and recommend improvements

• Experience developing solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Strong experience in .NET Framework/.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, Dataverse, Power Platform
• Experience in plugins, custom workflows, custom APIs, Power Automate solutions
• Experience integrating D365 with REST APIs and Azure Integration technologies
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
