D365 Functional Developer

Location: Lincoln, Hybrid working - 2 days in office per week

Contract Duration : Initial 6 month's

The opportunity

Our client, a public sector organisation, is looking for a D365 Functional Developer to join their digital and transformation function. You will design, configure and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support front-line services. You will turn business requirements into reliable, well-documented solutions that improve how the organisation works with the people it serves.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and customise D365 (Customer Service / CE and/or Finance and Operations) to meet business requirements
• Run requirements and fit-gap sessions with service teams and turn the outcomes into functional designs
• Build and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
• Develop workflows, business rules, security roles, forms, views and dashboards
• Support integrations with line-of-business systems using APIs, Dataverse and Azure services
• Plan and support data migration, testing and UAT
• Provide second and third line support, resolve incidents and manage change through release cycles
• Produce clear technical and functional documentation and train end users where needed
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, MB-210, MB-230 or MB-300
• Experience in local government, housing or other public sector environments
