Overview

As a D365 Platform Specialist, you will own the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM environment from implementation through steady-state operation. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and deliver the platform, then manage BAU activities, releases, and ongoing support. The role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations and ERP governance, enabling efficient finance, procurement, and supply chain processes. You will help drive standard D365 functionality, data governance, and compliant operations within a regulated healthcare setting. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity to shape a critical digital backbone for patient-centred care.

Responsibilities
  • Platform ownership including environment management, security roles, and access control, serving as an escalation point for the ServiceDesk
  • Collaborate with Project Delivery Team and Microsoft Solution Partner on workshops, configuration reviews, and deployment planning for smooth handover to BAU
  • Licence and budget management with licence reviews and cost forecasting
  • Coordinate change activities following ITIL, participate in CAB, lead regression testing and UAT coordination
  • Drive business process optimisation with Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing and Supply Chain to promote standard D365 functionality
  • Maintain role-based access controls and audit compliance supporting GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus and ALCOA+ requirements
  • Support data migration, cleansing, validation, and data quality improvements
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and Microsoft Partner
  • Own platform documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to the wider business
Key requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting enterprise business applications or ERP platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM
  • Experience across full ERP lifecycle (implementation, configuration, transition-to-service)
  • Understanding of Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing and Supply Chain processes
  • Experience managing enterprise licensing and user access controls
  • Track record coordinating change management, release management and regression testing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting platforms within a governed environment
  • Desirable: knowledge of Power Platform, Azure integration and reporting tools
  • Desirable: experience in healthcare/pharma or regulated industries with GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus, GxP, ALCOA+
