Overview

In this role you will lead the design and governance of architecture for diverse client projects within PA’s Digital & Data community. You’ll shape low-code and software solutions, collaborate with engineering teams and senior leaders, and define artefacts and roadmaps that align with business goals. You’ll work across multiple delivery approaches (Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and help clients realise benefits through credible architectural decisions. This role offers cross‑functional impact, exposure to varied sectors, and a clear path to technical leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the solution design and architecture for Low‑Code based projects and ensure alignment with business objectives and technical specs.
  • Create and assure architecture artefacts (Design Decisions, Technical Options Paper, High/Low Level Design, Reference Architecture, Roadmap).
  • Define vision with Engineering teams, establish Guardrails and Architecture Runways, unblock issues as they arise.
  • Support cost estimation, detailed planning, and benefits realization for technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior client leaders to shape change cases and support decision making.
  • Engage across governance models and delivery methodologies (Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) to deliver architecture solutions.
Key requirements
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Collaborative with multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments
  • Architecture skills across domains (Business, Data, Application, Technology, Security)
  • Practical use of TOGAF and SAFe
  • Proficiency in architecture modelling tools/frameworks (UML, ArchiMate, Ardoq)
  • Hands-on Software Engineering or Dynamics 365 experience; leadership of engineering teams
