Data Analyst

In this role you will own key reporting functions, support the transition to Power BI, and deliver high-quality data insights for internal teams and external clients. You’ll help mature the data function by documenting processes and driving improvements, working closely with stakeholders to define data needs. The role emphasizes clear communication of insights to non-technical audiences and managing multiple priorities in a growing team. • Design and develop standard and bespoke management reports, dashboards, and data visualisations for internal teams and external clients
• Query data and produce reports using Power BI, SQL, SSRS and Excel across various formats
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and ensure reports are accurate, documented, and delivered promptly
• Lead the documentation of reporting processes and comprehensive BI documentation
• Mentor team members responsible for reporting requirements and help manage workloads
• Evaluate client requests to ensure alignment with actual data needs and value delivery

• Strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and SSRS
• Knowledge of data management and data protection practices, including GDPR
• Experience delivering management reports across tools and formats
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines
• Project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Experience mentoring or leading teams is preferred but not essential
