Overview

In this Data Analyst role, you will deliver high-quality data solutions to support client, operational, and business objectives. You will work within the Data Delivery team to translate requirements into precise data products while engaging with stakeholders to ensure valuable outcomes. You’ll analyze, transform, and validate complex datasets, and help improve processes and data quality. The position offers hands-on technical work, client-facing delivery, and opportunities to mentor junior analysts in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Translate requirements into effective data deliverables and solutions
  • Manage client expectations, queries, issues, and risks
  • Deliver data extracts, reports, and analytical outputs to quality, scope, and timelines
  • Use SQL, SAS, and other tools to interrogate and validate complex datasets
  • Apply validation and QA processes to all deliverables
  • Investigate data-related issues and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support proof-of-concepts, new products, and data-driven solutions
  • Plan and prioritise workload, provide accurate estimates, monitor progress, and escalate risks
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and reduce operational risk
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team practices and standards
  • Coach junior team members and contribute to delivery reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Support governance, risk, and compliance activities wherever required
Key requirements
  • Strong SQL and/or SAS programming skills
  • Experience with complex datasets and data transformation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective engagement with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience investigating and resolving data-related issues
