Overview

As a Data Analyst in Burberry’s Decision Analytics team, you will translate data into actionable insights that drive commercial and customer decisions. You will work across marketing, merchandising, and platform analytics, leveraging a modern data stack (Databricks, Looker, Snowplow) to deliver value beyond standard reporting. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders globally, training and shaping analytical approaches to solve business questions at scale. This role offers an opportunity to impact strategy by turning data into clear, decision-ready insights within a values-driven luxury brand.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer behavior, journeys and commercial performance to identify opportunities and explain changes in business performance
  • Extract, manipulate and interpret large datasets to elevate stakeholders beyond BAU reporting for informed decision making
  • Analyze campaigns and touchpoints in online and offline marketing to understand channel influence on commercial trade
  • Develop expertise in clickstream and behavioural data to support digital journey analysis
  • Apply analytical methods such as cohort analysis, segmentation and experimentation with support from the team
  • Prioritize work effectively and ensure high-quality delivery in daily operations and projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges, share insights, and progressively own analytical work
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative, scientific, engineering or related discipline
  • Strong SQL or data querying skills with hands-on data manipulation and validation experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving foundations with ability to derive evidence-based conclusions
  • Experience delivering data-led analysis or deep-dive investigations, working independently and with others to shape recommendations
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain findings to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with BI or data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI is beneficial
