Job Description

We're looking for a Data Analyst with strong SQL, Python, and reporting experience to support a high-impact Claims Analytics team. This role is heavily focused on hands-on analysis, stakeholder interaction, and business insights, with exposure to MicroStrategy and a growing Power BI environment. Success in this role requires both technical depth and the ability to confidently explain your work to business partners and leadership.

  • 85-90% hands-on analytical work
  • 10-15% stakeholder meetings and team collaboration
  • Querying and analyzing large datasets
  • Building and supporting reporting solutions
  • Providing insights to business stakeholders
  • Working with SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools
  • Supporting reporting modernization initiatives

Skills and Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Strong Python experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with MicroStrategy, Power BI, and/or Tableau
  • Ability to work independently in a highly analytical environment
  • Comfortable communicating directly with business stakeholders
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up habits
  • Proactive in providing project updates and status reporting
  • Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
