Data Analyst (Power BI)

As a Data Analyst at Saga Travel, you will translate business questions into reliable reporting and actionable insights. You’ll collaborate with Commercial, Finance and other stakeholders to build dashboards and analytics that support decision-making. You will work with complex data, improve reporting accuracy, and contribute to how the data platform evolves. • Partner with stakeholders across Trading, Finance and the wider business to define reporting needs and KPIs
• Design, build and maintain dashboards and management reports using Power BI
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis with SQL and BI tools to explain performance and support data-driven decisions
• Interpret data trends to provide insights that improve trading performance and business outcomes
• Ensure reporting accuracy by coordinating with Data Engineering to resolve data issues
• Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders, outlining actions and implications
• Support adoption of self-serve analytics through user guidance and training
• Contribute to evolving data models and advanced analytics like segmentation, experimentation and forecasting

• Experience in a BI or Data Analyst role delivering dashboards/reports for decision-making
• Experience building reports in Power BI or Tableau with data modelling and DAX measures
• Basic SQL querying experience
• End-to-end delivery of reporting solutions from requirements to stakeholder insights
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Curious, proactive problem-solver with data exploration mindset
• Good organisation and prioritisation to manage multiple requests
• Interest in developing technical and analytical skills within a growing analytics team
• Exposure to modern data platforms or tools (e.g., Azure, Fabric, Snowflake, Python, R) would be beneficial
