Our client is a leading bank which has built a bespoke Securities/Secured Finance transaction processing platform and due to growth within the business, they are looking to add a permanent Data Analyst to the team in London.

The role would involve working with stakeholders across the Markets, Commercial Bank and Mortgage businesses to uderstand data requirements for the platform, whilst working with development teams to build new data functionalities in the platform. Alongside this, the Data Analyst would be responsible for the extraction, manipulation and modelling of large Securities/Secured Finance transaction datasets to spot trends and identify potential commercial growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Extensive, hands-on knowledge of SQL Server and Excel and able to write own queries and pivot tables.
• Good knowledge of either Securities Trading, Structured Finance or Secured Lending - i.e. asset/mortgage-backed, Repos, CLO/CDOs, structured credit/finance
• Good stakeholder management skills and ability to gather requirements and work with technology teams.

This is a London-based role, with 2-3 days per week required in Central London.
