Data Analytics Engineer I

In this Analytics Engineer role within Checkout.com’s Financial Infrastructure team, you design and maintain data pipelines that power our internal financial systems at scale. You translate Finance and Treasury needs into robust data models and reliable data processing, ensuring data accuracy and governance as the business grows. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decisions and continuously evaluate new technologies to improve our platform. You will own data quality and reliability, shaping a world-class financial data capability in a fast-paced fintech environment.

• Design and build data pipelines to process data from systems and applications
• Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure pipeline reliability
• Collaborate with analytics engineers to create scalable data models for operations and analytics
• Maintain data governance and security standards across systems
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve the platform
• Translate business requirements from Finance into technical specs and SLAs

• 2+ years in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering with large-scale data transformation and warehousing
• Excellent SQL coding skills
• Experience with Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or AWS Redshift
• Experience with dbt or Dataflow
• Understanding of data modeling techniques
• Experience with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Apache Superset
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices for data processing
• Knowledge of Python, Java or Flink is a plus
