Data Analytics Machine Learning Specialist

Lead data analytics and machine learning initiatives on-site in Toronto, using predictive modelling and cloud technologies for public sector decision-making.

This experienced specialist delivers analytics solutions, reporting, datasets, and actionable insights. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Architects, ETL Developers, and technical teams. The one-year contract requires strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end analytics initiatives and deliver reporting solutions
• Design statistical models and predictive machine learning algorithms
• Develop extraction, transformation, and processing solutions
• Assess analytics capabilities and recommend improvements
• Translate quantitative findings into visualizations and recommendations

Requirements:

• 5+ years with Azure or AWS and big data frameworks
• Strong SQL, programming, ETL, statistical analysis, and business intelligence skills
• Predictive modelling experience using TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Proficiency with .NET, Web APIs, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps
• Strong analytical, consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills
