Data Analytics Manager
London (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week) Up to £100,000 + Benefits

The Role
- Drive innovation across analytics, identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and modern analytics tooling.
- Help define and implement strategies for semantic layers, self-service analytics, and metric governance.
- Improve technical standards, ensuring analytics solutions are scalable, reliable, and consistent.
- Partner with Data, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to shape analytics strategy.
- Lead strategically important analytics initiatives that drive measurable business value.
- Own and develop key analytics products, reporting frameworks, and enterprise metrics.
- Influence data platform, tooling, and architectural decisions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and translate promising ideas into practical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching across the wider analytics community.
- Act as a trusted advisor on analytics best practice, governance, and capability development.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, data strategy, or a related field.
- Advanced SQL and data modelling skills, with strong knowledge of modern analytics tools and platforms.
- Experience developing semantic layers, metric frameworks, and self-service reporting capabilities.
- Knowledge of tools such as dbt, MetricFlow, LookML, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong understanding of analytics architecture, data governance, and modern BI principles.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change without direct authority.
- Strong interest in AI and its application within analytics and decision-making environments.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience within a regulated industry is advantageous but not essential.
