In this role, you lead the evolution of data from a reporting function to a strategic, decision-driving capability. You partner with the Head of Data to build a consultative data team, processes, and tooling that enable predictive, commercially focused insights. You drive self-serve analytics adoption across multiple business areas and establish governance and quality standards. You thrive in a collaborative, inclusive culture that values growth and impact, helping the organisation move faster with trusted data.

Responsibilities
  • Drive adoption of self-serve analytics across Growth, Engagement, Partnerships and beyond
  • Rebalance accountability for data insights with tribe leads to reduce ad hoc demand
  • Manage a high-performing team of analysts and foster genuine cross-functional partnerships
  • Lead modern tooling and applied data science methods, coaching and structured development
  • Help analysts evolve from reactive to proactive insight generation and opportunity identification
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape problem statements, success measures, and priorities
  • Own complex, high-impact analytics, including methodologies, assumptions, and interpretation
  • Ensure outputs are trusted, contextually aligned, and governed before informing decisions
Key requirements
  • Significant experience in data analytics with hybrid IC/manager responsibilities
  • Proven track record of landing self-serve adoption with measurable outcomes
  • Experience rebalancing accountability in matrixed organisations
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills with tribe leads, PMs, and operations
  • Hands-on technical capability in SQL, Power BI, Python or similar
  • Effective communication with senior stakeholders and ability to uphold quality standards
