Overview
In this hands-on leadership role, you manage a Data Analytics team within a fintech environment to improve commercial operations through data-driven insights. You collaborate with product and tech groups to deploy data solutions, automate reporting, and ensure governance of the reporting platform. You will lead architecture and design, coordinate across functions, and deliver rapid, production-ready analytics that support smarter business decisions. The role combines people leadership with hands-on analytics in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Responsibilities- Line manage a 4-person Data & Analytics team (including remote members)
- Work within SCRUM framework using JIRA; align with product owner on requirements
- Support service proposals, demos, training for users and customers
- Identify business issues with stakeholders and propose data-driven solutions
- Perform in-depth data analysis using advanced technologies to solve problems
- Merge and extract data to produce tailored reports that tell data-driven stories
- Test and deploy new reports; manage reporting catalog and security; troubleshoot issues with global teams
- Handle ad hoc reporting queries from internal tickets
- Author high-quality technical and support documentation
- Senior BI or Data Analytics experience in a SAAS environment
- Experience in analytical/algorithm/data/software development roles
- Background with BI development and willingness to learn new technologies
- Strong SQL experience (MS Visual Studio, Oracle SQL Developer)
- Experience with Qlik Sense advantageous
- Knowledge of other languages/tech (web: Java, HTML, CSS) advantageous
- Experience leading a small team is desirable
