Data and AI Pipeline Engineer

Build AI data platforms and pipelines at Zebra as a hybrid Data and AI Engineer in Mississauga, working three days onsite weekly.

This Data and AI Engineer designs solutions from client requirements and oversees other engineers’ development. The role emphasizes databases, SQL, cloud technologies, and modern integration tools. You will support AI products through scalable pipelines, transformations, validation, orchestration, and operational data delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data platforms supporting AI products
• Develop parameterized pipelines leveraging GPUs and CPUs
• Transform data with Spark, Python, Scala, and Dask
• Automate workflows using Python and Argo
• Test, profile, validate, and optimize data pipelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or Engineering
• One-plus years programming with Python, Scala, or Go
• One-plus years using SQL and data transformation
• One-plus years developing distributed systems with Spark
• Database, agent, ontology, and data security experience
