Data and Analytics Architect

In this role you drive the information management and data governance agenda for MR Syndicate, partnering with cross-functional teams to shape data architecture and analytics capabilities. You own strategic roadmaps, data quality programs, and standards to enable scalable, repeatable data solutions. You will influence senior stakeholders to align data strategies with business outcomes, delivering impactful governance across data, BI, and analytics domains. The role offers a meaningful opportunity to advance enterprise information management in a leading insurer and contribute to customer-centric outcomes.

• Lead the implementation and digitalization agenda for MR Syndicate in a cross-functional team
• Design Munich Re pillars for Data Governance, Metadata Management, MDM, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, Sourcing and Staging, BI, Analytics and R&D
• Manage the Information Management framework, architecture, processes, and solutions
• Develop strategic roadmaps for all Data & Analytics domains
• Implement the data quality strategy
• Review third-party designs to ensure quality and alignment with MR architecture
• Deliver standards and patterns for standardised and repeatable service deployment
• Support conduct-driven outcomes for customers/policyholders

• 5+ years of hands-on design, engineering, or implementation in an insurance enterprise
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies (agile, DevOps, rapid prototyping)
• Ability to estimate financial impact of technology options
• Ability to quickly assess new and existing technologies for business models
• ITIL or IBCS certification or willingness to pursue with support
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with senior leaders
