Overview

Join FBRS JV as Data and Asset Manager supporting the HS2 Track Infrastructure Project in London. You will define and deliver asset information objectives, manage FBRS asset databases and ensure integration with HS2 AIMS, while aligning with client requirements. You will support data quality, standards enforcement, and provide user support, training, and process improvements. This role sits at the intersection of data management, BIM, and field delivery, offering impact on large-scale rail infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to stabilise systems and drive digital asset strategies that enable efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver asset information objectives for FBRS and client (HS2)
  • Manage FBRS asset database and ensure integration with HS2 AIMS
  • Develop and maintain asset database systems and processes with data accuracy and security
  • Provide strategic input into digital asset information and engineering strategies
  • Validate asset data for compliance with project/client requirements
  • Provide first-line support to users and troubleshoot asset database issues
  • Develop Asset Information definitions, standards, methods and procedures
  • Enforce data and asset standards across the project
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflow efficiencies
  • Support integration of Asset information with CAD-GIS systems
  • Train internal and external users on asset database functionalities
  • Collaborate with client, RSA delivery, and IM for system stability and improvements
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with standards
  • Combine data management, technical, and analytical tasks with BIM tools
Key requirements
  • Proficiency with asset management software, databases, and reporting tools
  • Experience with BIM tools managing project data through lifecycle
  • Strong organizational skills for multiple tasks and data streams
  • Ability to interpret client requirements for Asset information
  • Quality Assurance checks per project/industry standards
  • Ability to coordinate and manage own workload
  • Familiarity with ETL tools like FME and GIS integrations
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Understanding of construction processes, asset lifecycles and industry regulations and standards
  • Experience in large infrastructure projects (preferable Rail) and technical assurance
