Overview

In this role you will transform data into a strategic asset within Ramboll Tech, aligning data architecture with business goals to enable growth and operational excellence. You will collaborate with enterprise and product architects, data platform teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable, secure data solutions across EDWH-oriented ecosystems. This position offers the chance to shape data products and governance in a high-impact, sustainability-oriented organization. You will drive data maturity and enable AI-enabled decision-making across Ramboll’s Global Business Areas.

Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the enterprise data architecture across platforms and products
  • Lead design of scalable, AI-ready data ecosystems delivering business value
  • Establish and enforce data architecture standards, modeling guidelines and best practices
  • Define enterprise and domain data models and data products contracts
  • Shape data product interoperability and data platform usage (DWH/EDWH/Fabric/analytics layers)
  • Ensure data integration points meet data protection standards across multi-geo environments
  • Implement data lineage, cataloging, and observability for trustworthy pipelines
  • Collaborate with governance teams to embed data quality, security and compliance into pipelines
  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions
  • Collaborate with architects, developers and data scientists to operationalise data architectures
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in data architecture with cloud experience
  • Strong data modelling, data warehousing, data governance and ETL skills
  • Experience with data integration and working with data platform teams
  • Proven ability to design data models that support analytics and reporting
  • Experience securing sensitive information and working in multi-geo environments
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and modern data stack
  • Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK framework and data management best practices
  • Excellent communication to translate technical concepts for stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration
