Data Architect
to join a high-profile programme delivering enterprise-scale data solutions within a secure government environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior contractor who enjoys solving complex data challenges, working across multiple systems and stakeholders, and designing robust end-to-end data architectures that support critical business services. The Role You'll play a key role in defining and delivering data architecture across a complex technology landscape, ensuring data flows efficiently and securely from source through to consumption. Working alongside architects, technical teams and business stakeholders, you'll design scalable, resilient data solutions that support strategic transformation programmes. What You'll Be Doing Designing end-to-end data architecture solutions across complex enterprise environments. Defining architecture for data ingestion, storage, validation, transformation, integration and reporting. Producing logical and physical data models. Working across multiple applications, platforms and technologies to create integrated data solutions. Establishing data architecture standards and best practices. Ensuring data governance, quality, security and compliance are embedded within designs. Collaborating with solution architects, engineers, analysts and senior stakeholders throughout delivery. Producing high-quality technical documentation and architecture artefacts. What We're Looking For You'll be an experienced Data Architect with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale data solutions within complex environments. You'll have: Extensive experience as a Senior Data Architect. Experience working across multiple systems, applications and organisational domains. Strong knowledge of end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, storage, validation, transformation and integration. Excellent data modelling skills (logical and physical). Experience with modern data platforms, data warehouses and cloud-based data solutions. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and metadata management. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must hold: Live SC (Security Check) clearance Live NPPV Level 3 (NPPV3) clearance Unfortunately, applications cannot be considered without both active clearances.
