In this Data Engineering Senior Manager role, you will lead and shape data and AI initiatives for clients across multiple industries. You will oversee data engineering capabilities, define enterprise data strategies, and drive large-scale transformation programmes. You will work with cutting-edge Azure data platforms and GenAI to deliver high-impact, production-grade solutions. This role combines technical leadership with client engagement and solution shaping to create measurable business outcomes.

- Lead and grow the Data Engineering practice and capability
- Oversee development of use-case and platform technology solutions using reference and emerging technologies
- Define enterprise data strategies, target architectures and transformation roadmaps
- Architect modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake and Power BI
- Design scalable data lake, lakehouse, data warehouse and data integration solutions
- Establish data governance, security, quality, metadata and lineage using Microsoft Purview
- Provide architecture leadership for Data & AI, analytics and Generative AI initiatives
- Lead architecture reviews, technology selection and technical assurance across major programmes
- Engage with CIO, CTO, CDO and senior technology stakeholders to shape data strategy and solutions
- Support solution shaping, proposals, estimates and business development activities
- Build strong relationships with clients and Microsoft technology partners
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex solutions from inception to production
- Provide strategic and technical leadership, mentoring and team growth
- Contribute to Accenture Data & AI community through thought leadership
- Play a pivotal role in driving data & AI initiatives across client projects and research initiatives
- Experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or Technology Architecture
- Strong enterprise experience with Microsoft Azure Data and Analytics
- Hands-on architectural experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Databricks/Synapse
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses and data integration
- Experience with data governance, security, privacy and Microsoft Purview
- Understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI data architectures
- Proven experience leading technical teams and large-scale transformation programmes
- Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience in consulting, systems integration or large enterprise environments is desirable
- Complex programme planning and delivery in the data and AI domains
- Certified cloud credentials (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) is a plus
- Experience in leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in delivering production-grade data and AI solutions
