Overview

In this role you lead the AI/ML Computational Science practice within Accenture’s Centre for Advanced AI, guiding the design and delivery of high-impact AI/ML solutions for multiple industries. You will shape technology roadmaps, mentor teams, and drive cross-functional collaboration to turn real-world problems into scalable, secure AI-enabled platforms. You’ll work with cutting-edge GenAI, CV, NLP, and other AI techniques to create value for clients and strengthen Accenture’s thought leadership in AI.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the AI/ML Computational Science practice and oversee use-case and platform solution development
  • Formulate real-world problems into practical, scalable AI/ML solutions leveraging GenAI, CV, NLP, LLMs and related techniques
  • Guide multi-disciplinary teams from inception to production, ensuring alignment with client needs and technical excellence
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership, shaping roadmaps and mentoring developers
  • Drive thought leadership within Accenture Data & AI by sharing insights from projects and research initiatives
  • Architect and validate AI/ML architectures, models, and deployment patterns to ensure production-readiness
  • Promote software engineering and DevSecOps excellence in AI/ML delivery
  • Demonstrate experience delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML services with measurable business impact
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience with AI/ML platform technologies and services (Sagemaker, Vertex, Azure ML, OpenAI, LangChain, AutoML, OCR, STT, feature stores, vector databases)
  • Ability to lead literature reviews, build PoCs, and define architectural patterns for AI/ML implementations
  • Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud-based solutions across one or more cloud platforms
  • Strong software engineering, DevSecOps and operational excellence in AI/ML delivery
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Certified cloud ML credentials (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty) preferred
  • Track record delivering production-grade AI/ML solutions with business impact
