Overview

In this role you will turn business challenges into data-driven solutions within the Data & AI team. You’ll work across Commercial, Pricing, Promotions and Finance to understand data needs and translate them into actionable requirements for delivery teams. You’ll help shape enterprise data products and reporting that unlock value for members, customers and colleagues. You will collaborate in a forward-looking data environment and contribute to improving ways of working and business outcomes. This is a chance to influence data usage across the organization while developing your analytics and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities
  • Engage stakeholders across Commercial, Pricing, Promotions and Finance to define challenges, objectives and data needs
  • Map current processes, data flows and decision-making activities
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and user journey mapping to refine requirements
  • Define future requirements and opportunities, communicating value of changes
  • Translate business requirements into clear specifications for Data Engineering, BI and technical teams
  • Support planning, estimation and prioritisation with Product Managers and delivery teams
  • Collaborate with Data & AI, Data Governance, Data Quality and SAP teams to ensure solutions meet needs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices and tools across the team
Key requirements
  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst or Data Business Analyst on data, reporting or technology initiatives
  • Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation
  • Experience mapping business processes, user journeys and data flows with clear documentation
  • Understanding of data and analytics environments and how data supports decisions
  • Experience working with SAP data and understanding SAP data structures
  • Excellent communication, questioning and structured research skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and process mapping software; experience in agile/multidisciplinary delivery environments
