This senior-level data center role combines hands-on installation expertise with shift leadership and quality assurance. You'll help keep work organized, technicians supported, and installations aligned with project requirements.

If you're a strong data center technician who enjoys coaching others and takes pride in getting the details right, this is an opportunity to have a broader impact across multiple sites. Previous QA experience is a major plus.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience in data center installations or a similar technical role
• Strong data center background, including rack-and-stack work
• Experience with structured cabling, including fiber and copper
• Fiber testing, troubleshooting, and validation experience
• Knowledge of rack infrastructure, servers, storage, network hardware, PDUs, and power redundancy
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and methods of procedure (MOPs)
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, guide technicians, and maintain safe work practices

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous quality assurance experience in a data center
• Experience leading technicians or coordinating work across a shift
• Familiarity with data center cooling, including airflow management and direct-to-chip liquid cooling
• Experience with OS installation, imaging tools, BIOS or firmware configuration, and hardware validation
• Experience with post-installation inspections, audits, and documentation

What You Will Be Doing

• Coordinate and sequence technician assignments by shift
• Maintain work quality and productivity throughout the shift
• Conduct shift handoffs and ensure continuity across work packages
• Coach technicians during live installation work
• Perform and oversee quality checks across data center installations
• Validate rack builds, equipment installation, cabling, power connections, labeling, and cooling setup
• Troubleshoot installation and fiber-related issues; resolve or escalate as needed
• Support safe work practices and compliance with data center procedures
• Travel between nearby data center sites as needed
