Overview

In this contract you will own the end-to-end delivery of a legacy data estate decommissioning within a platform transformation. You’ll lead a small cross-functional team, coordinate with data architects, and manage suppliers and offshore resources. You’ll hold delivery to contract scope, timelines, and quality while tracking multi-million-pound budgets and risks. Expect senior stakeholder visibility and regular progress reporting in a fast, outcome-driven environment. This role offers a tangible, ownable impact on a major data initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of a legacy decommissioning project within an Agile governance framework
  • Lead a cross-functional team including technology, business, and offshore resources
  • Hold suppliers to contract deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
  • Manage project financials and resource plans against a multi-million-pound budget
  • Facilitate stakeholder sign-off with data architects and release management
  • Provide senior-visible progress reporting and proactive risk management
  • Coordinate communications across technical and business stakeholders
Key requirements
  • Proven Agile delivery experience
  • Hands-on use of Jira and Azure DevOps
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills with senior visibility
  • Experience managing supplier and offshore delivery resources
  • Cloud platform exposure (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
