Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will drive data-driven transformation by building robust ETL pipelines and scalable data lakes to support machine learning for predictive asset performance. You’ll work within a fast-growing transformation team, partnering with data scientists and analytics experts to deliver proactive solutions. • Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines and well-structured datasets in a Data Lake
• Ensure pipelines are reliable, monitored, and report issues automatically
• Provide programmatic data access to Data Scientists and analytics teams
• Optimize performance of critical pipelines and track key metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate SME insights into data solutions
• Define data linkage and quality requirements for automated pre-processing
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews to promote best practices
• Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines
• Proficiency with SQL and Python
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure)
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Databricks
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
