Data Engineer

Our client is looking for a Data Engineer with 1–2 years' postgraduate experience to join their growing data team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who has hands‑on experience building data pipelines and wants to develop further in a supportive, hands‑on environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Build automation and reporting tools using Google Sheets and Google Apps Script
- Work with cloud platforms for data storage and processing
- Support the design of data models and data warehouses
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data quality issues
- Document technical processes and workflows
Requirements
- 1–2 years' experience in a data engineering or related role
- Experience with Google Sheets and Google Apps Script
- Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform
- Experience with Python or similar programming language
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with data warehousing tools (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt)
- Experience with Git/CI-CD
