Overview

In this role you will design, build and run scalable data platforms and pipelines to power AI-driven products at Global. You work cross-functionally to deliver production-grade data solutions, uphold quality and governance, and evolve platform capabilities. You’ll shape a scalable data foundation, enabling efficient analytics and targeting across teams. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity to build from the ground up in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Data Platform & Pipeline Engineering: design, build and maintain scalable batch and near real-time pipelines across ingestion, transformation and serving layers; optimize performance, reliability and cost
  • Platform Evolution & Engineering Excellence: shape the data platform through architecture, tooling, CI/CD and infrastructure as code; create reusable components and document
  • Quality & Governance: implement data validation, lineage, observability and governance for trusted datasets
  • Collaboration & Enablement: partner with Data Science, MLOps, Product and commercial teams; mentor others and communicate with stakeholders

Key requirements
  • Strong Python and SQL skills for production-grade pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Airflow, dbt and AWS
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, testing, version control and infrastructure as code
  • Understanding of data quality, observability and governance
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and communicate with stakeholders
