Our Client is a boutique Lloyd’s broker, who are renowned for fostering a culture of technological advancement, collaborative growth, and industry recognition are now seeking a Data Engineer to join the team.

A pivotal role has arisen due to strategic growth initiatives focused on enhancing data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of data handling within the organisation, contributing directly to more informed decision-making and operational efficiency. This is an exciting chance to work at the forefront of data transformation projects in a well-respected company.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum of four years’ experience in a data engineering or related technical role.
• Proven expertise in SQL and working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and data migration projects.
• Experience with Power BI and knowledge of containerisation tools is a plus.
• Experience working with insurance data, including bordereaux.
• Knowledge of Power Automate and AI-enabled development tools.
• Must have a background of working in the insurance industry.
