Overview
In this hands-on Data Engineer role, you will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms that power Zego’s growth. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Product teams to ensure reliable, well-modeled data for analytics and operations. AI-driven approaches will help automate routine tasks and accelerate problem solving. You’ll learn from experienced engineers and contribute to high-quality, well-tested work in a fast-paced environment.

- Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and related systems
- Uphold data engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code)
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Develop and maintain data warehouses and streaming systems within existing architecture
- Ensure data models meet analytics, data science, and operational needs
- Contribute to data tooling improvements and system enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions
- Deliver against the data engineering technical roadmap
- 2+ years as a Data Engineer in data platforms or similar
- Experience building and operating ETL/ELT pipelines
- Hands-on experience with modern data stack (Python, SQL, Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, AWS S3, PostgresDB, Airflow, dbt, Apache Spark) deployed via AWS, Docker, and Terraform
