Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in a fast-growing transformation team, enabling data-driven machine learning solutions. You will build robust data foundations and predictive insights for vacuum asset performance, helping anticipate failures and deliver smarter customer outcomes. You report to the Data Analytics & Solutions Architecture Team Lead and collaborate across functions to shape data solutions. You will work with data engineers, data scientists, and analytics teams to improve data quality and accessibility. • Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines and datasets in a Data Lake
• Ensure data pipelines are reliable, monitored, and automatically report issues
• Provide programmatic data access for Data Scientists and analytics teams
• Optimize pipeline performance and define/track key metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate subject matter expertise
• Define data linkage and quality checks for automated pre-processing
• Support design discussions and code reviews
• Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders

• Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure)
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as DataBricks
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Proactive and curious mindset with a drive to continuously improve data solutions
