Data Engineer

A mid-sized, growing fintech firm is hiring a Data Engineer to join its established data team in NYC.

This role offers hands-on work with a modern data stack, close collaboration with the business, and the opportunity to take ownership of projects supporting lending and financial operations.

What you’ll work on:

• Building and maintaining data pipelines and ELT processes
• Developing and expanding dbt models
• Scheduling and monitoring workflows using Dagster
• Building Snowflake and AWS integrations
• Improving data quality and reconciliation processes

What you’ll need:

• Around two years of data or analytics engineering experience
• Daily, hands-on dbt experience
• Strong Python skills, including Pandas
• Snowflake experience
• Experience with Dagster or Airflow
• AWS experience, including S3, IAM, and CloudFormation
• Experience working with financial data, such as lending, payments, or fintech
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

Exposure to AI tools or LLM pipelines is a plus.

$130K–$150K base salary plus bonus. Four days onsite in NYC.
