Job Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer to build scalable, high‑performance applications on AWS. The role involves designing and deploying production data pipelines, building data warehouses and lakes, and working on a variety of client projects across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work to agile best practices and cross‑functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Problem‑solve with clients using technical skills on internal and client projects.
• Participate in live in‑person whiteboarding sessions and asynchronous communication on Teams.
• Hybrid working with the team on client sites or in our office a minimum of two days per week; up to five days on client site.
• Design and build solutions on the AWS cloud.

Tech Stack

• AWS cloud technologies for ETL pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes.
• AWS services such as EMR, Glue, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB.
• Java, Python, Scala, Spark, SQL.

Qualifications

• Problem‑solving and analytical mindset.
• Experience designing and deploying production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Scala, Spark and SQL.
• Experience writing scripts, extracting data using APIs, and writing SQL queries.
• Experience processing structured and unstructured data on AWS cloud.
