Overview

As a Data Engineer at Ipsos, you help evolve our Audience Measurement data platforms using cloud-native, serverless patterns. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to build scalable data pipelines and optimise storage on GCP, while emphasizing data quality and governance. You’ll drive DataOps, support model productionisation, and document architectures to enable reliable, end-to-end data delivery. This role combines technical impact with cross-functional collaboration in a mission to deliver timely insights at scale. You’ll work in a pragmatic, improvement-focused environment that values clear data contracts and incremental change.

Responsibilities
  • Develop robust scalable data pipelines and optimise data storage solutions on GCP
  • Implement ETL processes and CI/CD pipelines for clean, structured data
  • Collaborate with data scientists to productionise models and provide guardrails
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot and evaluate new technologies
  • Document pipelines and architectures to enforce data management standards
  • Engage in DataOps practices and improve data delivery performance
  • Enable model productionisation and establish data contracts with stakeholders
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Key requirements
  • Extensive data engineering experience with modern cloud providers (ideally GCP)
  • Expert-level Python proficiency for building decoupled, testable functions
  • Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures
  • Migration and testing experience for modernizing legacy systems
  • IaC and containerization experience with tools like Pulumi/Terraform
  • Ability to collaborate with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and non-technical staff
