Data Engineer ETL Cloud Infrastructure

Build ETL pipelines and cloud infrastructure as a Data Engineer at REW.ca, supporting real estate data and analytics. Work at least one day weekly in Vancouver.

This 12-month contract role runs through 2027, with early December 2026 availability welcomed. You will help evolve REW.ca’s data platform while processing feeds from numerous sources. The work combines Python, SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and cloud technologies to support accurate, available data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance REW.ca’s data platform
• Debug and optimize ETL pipelines
• Build sustainable infrastructure for data pipelines
• Process data and develop data models
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of data engineering or analysis experience
• Experience with big data technology stacks
• Proficiency in Python or similar data processing language
• Strong SQL and relational database development knowledge
• Experience with AWS, GCS, or similar cloud providers
