Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will help design and scale a data platform to power investment decisions. You’ll deliver robust ETL and data management workflows, collaborating with data scientists and investment professionals. You will integrate 3rd party APIs to collect data at scale and ensure clean, reliable data for analysts. This role offers remote flexibility while working with a distributed team to advance data capabilities for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build an efficient, scalable data platform with the Head of Data Platform
  • Develop robust ETL/data management frameworks for large data volumes
  • Collaborate with data scientists and investment professionals
  • Manage and integrate 3rd party APIs to collect data at scale
Key requirements
  • 3 years of Python/Data Engineering experience
  • Fluency in Python, SQL, Unix Shell
  • Experience with TDD, CI/CD
  • Experience in custom ETL design
  • Experience with workflow orchestrators (Airflow)
  • Experience with Big Data/MPP analytics platform
  • Domain knowledge in investments/finance is a plus
