Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric

FULTOO is looking for an experienced Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric to join a client project in Leeds.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely hands-on and has strong, proven experience with Microsoft Fabric .

Strong, proven experience in Microsoft Fabric is a MUST

What you will do

• Design and develop data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric
• Build and maintain Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions
• Develop data ingestion and transformation processes
• Work with OneLake, Data Factory and Data Pipelines
• Create and run prototype pipelines to validate technical solutions
• Be hands-on with implementation, development and troubleshooting
• Develop efficient and scalable data models
• Integrate data from multiple sources
• Monitor and optimise pipeline performance
• Work closely with Data Architects, BI Developers and business stakeholders
• Implement data quality, security and governance best practices
• Troubleshoot data and pipeline issues

Required Skills

• Strong, proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (MUST)
• Strong experience in Fabric Data Engineering
• Lakehouse & Data Warehouse
• OneLake
• Data Factory & Data Pipelines
• Strong SQL
• Data ingestion, transformation and integration
• Data modelling and performance optimisation
• Experience with Power BI / Semantic Models
• Experience with Azure Data Services
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

What we're looking for

• Someone who can create and run prototype pipelines independently
• Someone who is hands-on , not purely an architectural/design resource
• Ability to take a requirement from concept → prototype → development → production
• Comfortable working with architects, developers and business teams
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
