Data Engineer - Python - Up To £140,000 P/A + Comps - London

We’re partnering with a highly technology-driven firm seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a team working with large-scale, high-volume data. You’ll be responsible for building and improving the systems that process, transform and deliver data across a technically sophisticated environment.

This opportunity would suit Data Engineers, Python Engineers and Software Engineers with strong data exposure who enjoy working with challenging datasets, scalable infrastructure and performance-critical systems.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing systems using Python
• Work with high-volume datasets to support critical business and analytical applications
• Design, optimise and improve data workflows with a focus on performance and reliability
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to develop robust data-driven solutions

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial Python experience, ideally within a data-intensive environment
• Experience working with large-scale or high-volume datasets
• Solid understanding of data processing, pipelines, databases and distributed systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with an interest in scalability, performance and automation
