Overview

In this role you will design, build, and optimize high-performance ETL solutions for Citi's Oracle General Ledger data pipelines. You’ll work across finance and technology to ensure data accuracy and integrity, collaborating with business users and cross-functional teams. You’ll innovate by automating utilities and improving system efficiency, shaping Citi’s Finance Technology operations. This is a chance to become a subject matter expert in ledger processing within a global financial institution.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize complex ETL applications using Ab Initio toolkit (GDE, Control Centre, Metadata Hub)
  • Collaborate with business users, financial analysts, and tech teams to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery
  • Lead SDLC activities within Agile methodology, including documentation, unit/SIT testing, and UAT/production support
  • Analyze data issues using SQL and RDBMS expertise to maintain financial data integrity in the Oracle ledger
  • Innovate by creating automated utilities to improve performance and efficiency
  • Own technical issues, monitor processes, resolve defects, and manage bugs in Jira
Key requirements
  • Experience delivering data solutions in Banking/Financial Technology
  • Extensive hands-on ETL development with Ab Initio (GDE, Control Centre, Metadata Hub)
  • Deep Oracle/SQL expertise for complex data analysis and issue resolution
  • Strong UNIX and shell scripting skills
  • Full SDLC experience with Agile methodologies and Jira familiarity
  • Excellent analytical, ownership, risk management, and delivery capabilities
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
