Overview

As part of our Architecture & Modernization team, you will build and maintain the data infrastructure for our Data AI platforms. You’ll own hands-on data pipeline work and collaborate with stakeholders to turn data needs into scalable solutions. You’ll evolve the current strategy and contribute to governance, security, and innovation across the firm. This role combines technical execution with the opportunity to shape a firmwide AI development platform.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure accessibility and usability
  • Optimize data systems for performance and scalability
  • Implement data quality and data governance standards
  • Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to translate data needs into solutions and provide data-driven insights
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing (technical docs and training materials)
  • Participate in code reviews and improve development processes
  • Contribute to the broader data architecture community through knowledge sharing and presentations
Key requirements
  • Snowflake and Databricks native solutions experience
  • Snowflake Cortex experience (must)
  • Python programming proficiency
  • Experience with Apache Spark or Hadoop
  • SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their data services
  • Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies
  • Kafka experience (message queues/streaming)
  • Git version control
  • Jupyter notebooks for data exploration/analysis/visualization
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a geographically distributed team
  • 8+ years of data engineering practice
